My new love, working in oil & cold wax. To me this looks like trees and craggy rocks but others may see something else.

Abstract Landscape Oil/Cold Wax over Acrylic on Canvas. I worked on this is both directions. I couldn't decide whether I wanted the black to be water or sky. Finally decided on water. I love abstract landscapes!

Painted intuitively, with just a hint of color. The color is more visible in person. Meditative, spiritual landscapes feed my soul. Oh how I love to paint them.

I was commissioned to paint this piece as a Christmas present for her daughter. I never paint from photographs, but I was inspired by this and decided to try it. Came out pretty good!
